Help ID Fraud Suspect 23-314357

On August 31, officers took a report from an out of state victim who had financial accounts used in Boise to make purchases at local retailers and withdrawals at local banks.  The victim provided officers with documentation on fraudulent transactions in excess of $25,000 in Boise.  Upon investigation officers were able to work with businesses to obtain an image of a male using the victim's stolen account information.

Help Identify Burglary Suspect (23-313369)
August 24, 2023

Boise Detectives are asking for your help in identifying a suspect in two commercial burglaries in the 4900 block of W State St.  Officers responded to separate reports of break ins of two closed businesses, one at 1:45am and the other at 3:55am on Tuesday August 15.  After obtaining video from each business, officers were able to determine it was the same suspect in both cases.

Help Identify Grand Theft Suspect 23-307869
July 20, 2023

On May 15, Boise officers were dispatched to the report of a theft at a gym in west Boise.  The victim reported their wallet was taken while working out.  The wallet contained cash and a financial card.  After contacting their bank, they learned of a fraudulent transaction at a retailer off N. Cole Rd. in Boise. 
 
Detectives were able to obtain pictures of a male subject using the victim's card.

BOISE POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOTS FIRED INTO HOME
July 06, 2023

Boise Police investigators are looking for any witnesses, video evidence or information about a shooting into a home on Monday morning.

 

On June 19th, around 1:15 am Boise Police responded to a report of shots fired into a home on the 4000 block of S. Oregon Trail Way. Evidence indicates the home was struck from the outside multiple times and some rounds entered the home.  Multiple residents were home at the time of the incident but thankfully no one was injured. Detectives have been following up on leads and the investigation is ongoing.

Officer Ask for Help with Grand Theft (BPD23-308378)
June 15, 2023

On May 12, officers responded to a reported theft at Military Reserve Trailhead in Boise.  After returning from a hike the victim discovered their wallet laying on the ground outside their car.  Going through the wallet the victim found multiple credit and debit cards were missing. 
 
Upon investigation the victim's cards were found to be used the same day at a retailer in Garden City as well as an attempted use in western Oregon days later.
 
Officers were able to obtain video of a female using the cards to make the purchases in Garden City.

Help Detectives ID Burglary Suspect (23-308126)
June 08, 2023

On Friday May 19, Boise officers were contacted by a victim reporting a vehicle burglary.  The victim stated they were parked at a local trailhead when their car was burglarized.  Taken from the vehicle was the victim's wallet, which contained multiple credit cards, along with cash from inside the vehicle.  The victim was alerted to the theft when their bank contacted them about a possible fraudulent transaction with one of their credit cards at store off W. State St. in Garden City.
 
Officers were able to work with the retailer to obtained pictures of a black male adult using the victim's card for multiple purchases.

Detectives Asking for Your Help to Solve a Grand Theft 23-306892

On April 29, employees of a rental car business near Airport Way in Boise reported a theft of multiple key FOBs for rental cars being stolen earlier that day.  Upon reviewing cameras inside the business, they were able to locate two males who entered the business and were able to access the rental keys.  Images were turned over to detectives who ask for your help in identifying.

Boise Police Looking to Identify Grand Theft Suspect DR23-303669
April 27, 2023

In early March, Boise officers took a report of a theft from a business near the intersection of W. Overland Rd. and S. Five Mile Rd. in Boise.  The victim reported while at work someone had taken their wallet.  The victims debit card was used to make multiple purchases around Boise.

 

Working with the business, officers were able to obtain images of a male who does not work at the business entering an employee area where the wallet was taken.

Help Officers Identify Arson Suspect DR23-306090
April 20, 2023

On April 15, Boise officer responded to a call in the 3000 block of W. State St. where victims at a business reported someone had been setting fires on the property.  On the scene officers observed an area of charring against the building next to a dumpster and a storage rack containing multiple propane tanks.

 

The business was able to provide security video of a male subject in the area just before 3am.  The male was wearing a black hoodie and was riding a bike.

Help Boise Officers Identify Theft Suspects
April 13, 2023

Boise Police are investigating multiple reports of theft at a location in the 4800 block of W. Franklin Rd.  The thefts which happened in March and April were caught on a camera in the area.  Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two unknown subjects who are involved.  After the thefts the individuals were seen driving away in a gray van or SUV.
